Central Emergency Services - Prepared for the worst, providing the best

SOLDOTNA, Alaska - Central Emergency Services was called out at 5:50 PM on Friday December 1st for a report of a structure fire on Riverview Street in the city of Soldotna. On arrival, Engine 1 reported smoke and fire coming from a two story wood frame structure.

C.E.S. responded to the fire with Engine 1, Medic 1, Ladder 1, Rescue 1, Engine 3, 906 (Fire Marshal Hale), Chief 2 (Assistant Fire Chief Gordon Orth), "B" Shift Firefighters and several On-Call Firefighters from around the area.

The top floor of the building was consumed by the fire, the first floor, which included store rooms and the garage, were salvageable and saved by Firefighters.
